Plano Balloon Festival


Martin Luther King Celebration
Plano celebrates Dr. King’s legacy with activities that take place over the course of a week, all open to the public. Festivities include a leadership breakfast, fair, unity walk, and tribute with recitations by young students.

Texas Music Revolution
Beginning in 2016, the long-running music festival produced by local country station KHYI “The Range” goes down in Plano’s Oak Point Park. Expect the two stages to feature the same mix of Americana, country, and folk the station is known for.

Held in early spring, TEDxPlano is a locally organized conference modeled after the popular national series that brings together leading thinkers on a panoply of subjects. Past presentations have covered slavery, drones, social media and politics, and human trafficking.

Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk
Every second Thursday April to November, sample selected wines, hear live music, and enjoy curated art exhibits at your favorite shops in the downtown arts district.
